Welfare Officer Reports

'There For You'

October 2016

The branch has completed the paperwork necessary to hold food vouchers for the West End food bank.  We are currently waiting for the paperwork to be processed for the Newcastle East, Durham and the Walker & District foodbanks.  Andrea and I will be attending a mandatory induction at the Gateshead foodbank on 4 October.

The ‘There for You’ presentation has been shown at Branch Committee and a training session for new stewards.  It’s also scheduled to be shown at Black Members on 20 September.  Feedback continues to be positive.
